Description: This is for magicians mostly. I have improved the ttool used for this effect avoiding one step at the end. Ideas? Suggestions? To clarify, the silk is tied to the gimmick. |

thecardmonkey ::: Favorites 2007-10-16 09:34:45 I think this video would have been better with a larger field of view (stand back a little). That way you can demonstrate it while using distraction techniques. You perform it well. It's just so in your face, you can't help but figure it out. __________________________________________________
thecardmonkey ::: Favorites 2007-10-16 09:38:50 Ok, I just read your comments. I see what you wanted now. My opinion is that it's difficult to appreciate what changes you made unless people know the original. The lay person would not know and therefore, to them, the trick is identical. __________________________________________________
matt4magic ::: Favorites 2007-10-16 10:52:18 This is very true. You must always consider the utility of the method - if it don't add to the effect, drop it. But my idea here was that it might add to the effect for a layman since the tempo is increased by removing a whole step. Plus the fact that a number of different effects can be performed (e.g., in the hands of the spectator). __________________________________________________ |
