hmmm there both great games to have but gears left a big impact on third person shooter while halo 3 didn't really improve fps much. I still have more fun on gears. unnecessary gore? biased...... lol who needs vehicles in a game like gears. gears is more original.

Hey its not our fault all you can use are the instant kill weapons you could have hopped in the tank, ghost, warthog, warthog turret, warthog side seat, went for the banshee, sat on the side and killed everyone with the rocket launcher, used dual weapons, used the battle rifle and more.

Play for a month of two? Thousands of people still played halo 2 till the very end. How the hell does halo get repetitive EVERYTHING and ANYTHING goes in halo 3 a vehicle can flip over and kill 5 guys and then explode and kill another guy, you have forge which is a map editor that you can use while in a game, every match is recorded on video and you can save em and show to your friends.

im a gears fan but i also think halo3 is a great game. lol isnt it annoyin any1 wen ppl say just wait for gears of war 2 i meen that could be years till its debut and plus this is a comparison of gears of war1 and halo3 anyway theres no winner for me i switch between each when i get bored of them
