Description: New Kate Bush song!! As part of The Golden Compass soundtrack album. Where are our lives If there is no dream Where is our home We don't know how There will be a way Out of this storm We will find home And her soul walks beside her An army stands behind her Lyra, Lyra And her face full of grace Two worlds collide around her The truth lies deep inside her Lyra, Lyra And the stars look down upon her This darkness settles on her Lyra, Lyra Who's to know what's in the future We hope we will be with her We have all our love to give her O Lyra, Lyra |

ribogok ::: Favorites 2007-11-24 02:37:26 All this rating of opinions here on YouTube is childish and promoting conformism. It's not good to see decently formulated individual views marked "Poor" many times just because they don't meet a group mentality. So I won't bother to express an opinion on this new Kate song. __________________________________________________
BennyJBishop ::: Favorites 2007-11-24 03:09:31 but your not doing what you think should be done, go ahead, shout out what you think __________________________________________________
magdeleen ::: Favorites 2007-11-24 05:56:38 Definitely a grower, like some people already remarked, and I hope the synths will turn into vocals on the cinema sound system; my own little computer speakers must be crap! Menro thanks so much for posting this !! __________________________________________________
prl1973 ::: Favorites 2007-11-24 07:14:07 A lovely wintery sounding song, sophisticated and subtle. Brilliant stuff. __________________________________________________
prl1973 ::: Favorites 2007-11-24 07:27:26 Its the first part of a trilogy, it's hardly spoiling anything to reveal that there's an exciting ending. __________________________________________________
xXxMysticalMoonxXx ::: Favorites 2007-11-24 10:18:54 this is a beautiful song __________________________________________________
leicbri ::: Favorites 2007-11-24 11:05:56 Yes, like a cross between the coolness of "A Sea of Honey" and the warmth of "A Sky of Honey"...identifiably post-Aerial. __________________________________________________

contick1234 ::: Favorites 2007-11-24 16:00:50 Guys, this is a song for the end credits of a Hollywood movie. Not an '80s art rock concept album. A certain amount of cheese is to be expected. As far as this type of song goes, it's pretty different, sparse vocals, no rhythm section, understated... And the guy who said it has "destroyed an esteemed career" grow up and quit being so melodramatic. And yeah, sorry, but "This Woman's Work" is a bit cheesy as well. Doesn't make it any less fantastic. __________________________________________________
wyrdgrl ::: Favorites 2007-11-24 16:31:09 i thought this looked like a fine fantasy when i saw it on the telly. i am in that place that Kate can only take me, the tear that won't fall, that fire deep within sharp winter crystals- lovely tapestry and glad to have KB back in the publics ears. she is one of a kind. and hope she makes a mint on it and gets back to making us another full length record... __________________________________________________ |
