Description: Air traffic controllers had warned the Indonesian pilot of dangerous conditions as the plane carrying 130 passengers and crew came in to land in heavy rain Sunday. A total of 88 people died after Flight OG 269 crashed on landing at the Thai resort of Phuket. At least 89 people, including up to 55 foreigners, perished when a plane operated by budget carrier One-Two-Go veered off a runway during a fierce monsoon storm on the resort island of Phuket. |
